BFRC is the most trusted rating council in the UK, offering the most popular rating system for measuring energy performance in windows. When it comes to selecting or installing windows, relying on unsubstantiated claims from companies isn't sufficient. You need unbiased evidence that the windows will perform as advertised.

Why insist on BFRC energy-rated windows and doors
Changes came into effect on the 15th of June, 2022. The minimum required performance for replacement glazing is either a whole window 1.4 W/m2K or Band B with energy certificates; this has eliminated C-rated windows and doors.

When selecting energy-efficient windows or doors for your house, it's easy to see how they'll appear, but it's impossible to tell how they'll perform. That's why it's essential to verify that your installer uses BFRC-rated products. BFRC windows can assist you in making a well-informed decision about which energy performance rating, ranging from A++ to minimum requirement B rated, is suitable for your specific setup. BFRC Certificate, Why Are Energy Ratings Important

The energy efficiency level is calculated and verified by the BFRC, which is entirely independent of any manufacturing company or installer.

FENSA
If you want to apply for a BFRC Window Performance Certificate, then you must be a homeowner who has purchased energy-efficient windows with a BFRC rating installed by a FENSA Approved Installer. This certificate verifies the energy efficiency rating of the window installed on your property. It's important to keep your BFRC certificate safe and store it together with your FENSA certificate, as it can be beneficial when you decide to sell your home.

Really great job done by Peter and his team. They replaced all the windows in our 3rd floor flat, quickly and matching the old design exactly.
